I mastered the philosophy I attacked. The Incoherence is aimed at twenty specific positions — not at philosophy as a discipline. I explicitly defended mathematics, logic, and the natural sciences. Then I found reason insufficient, and turned to the mystic path. What do you take to be necessary that may only be habitual?
