Lesson 11
Now we're going to do some joined letter practice. You can also make your own words or your own combinations, but I'm going to give you a few anyway: iju, yuj, jyi, tuy, ijty, uijt, and so on. Make some combinations. We'll leave you some blank lines to do that.
Once again, get your ruler out when you are finished, and check that your angles are all the same. And also check the heights of your letters: that they're all touching the line, and that they're not going below the line. If you're going below the line, mark it. Correct your work with a little red pen or something.
And also draw lines through your verticals, long ones, so your eye can see that your verticals are all lined up the same way. Make sure your letters are sloping forwards and not sloping backwards, and that you keep the slopes the same all the time. Light up, dark down, light up, dark down, light up, dark down.
