   The question

   Lesson 3 introduces the negative NE...PAS, the elided article L', possessive pronouns LE MIEN and LE VÔTRE, the adjective BEAU/BEL, and ordinals PREMIER through TROISIÈME. The student now asks and answers both positive and negative questions.

   Outcome

   The student can produce correct full French sentences using affirmative and negative forms across the pool of Lessons 1–3. (Lesson 3)
