   The question

   Lesson 11 introduces DE for expressing material (l'habit de drap — the cloth coat), the verbs CASSER and PORTER, and new nouns: marteau, manteau, gilet, bouchon, saladier. The pool now includes compound noun phrases.

   Outcome

   The student can produce correct French sentences using DE for material and new action verbs across the pool of Lessons 1–10. (Lesson 11)
